I used to do the car jockey thing at Chevy dealer. No stress but depending on what you do it could get old fast. When I first started I was in the service bay which meant drive car to parking lot in back and bring it around front when done. Once in a while when the shuttle driver was away I'd get to shuttle customers. For some reason they never asked if I could drive standard...I can now (Thanks Mr. Corvette owner). After a few weeks I moved to the used cars and was in charge of the showroom, setting up the front lines and putting the cars on the ramps. Needless to say I only did this job for a year and went back to school. The older guys at the place did the shuttle and if you just wanna get out and drive look into dealer trades. They would go all over the place, as far away as London to pick up new cars and drive them back.
