I was going to put in a link to a YouTube video that shows the reality of the situation but don't have time to watch hours, if not days, reviewing the seemingly endless list of YouTube opinions, speculations, plans and legalities on the subject to find the right one.
IMO Donald Trump has spent 78 years of his life lying about anything that costs him power or money. He has become so good at it he can make up facts on the fly. He can twist laws and words faster than anyone can untwist them.
A lie can be made up faster than it can be disproved. Trump can make up a lie in a split second and if you are debating him you have to disprove that lie. You can spend days or weeks trying to find proof. By that time the subject has moved on and his supporters have accepted his word as the truth. You have lost valuable time that would have been better spent on your own positive thoughts.
It is almost impossible to prove something doesn't exist. You can look for ages and find nothing only to be told you were looking in the wrong places.
In a courtroom they put a limit on unreasonable claims. If your fingerprints were at the crime scene you could claim someone else has the same fingerprints. To disprove that it would require fingerprinting the eight billion people on the planet.
One video that I saw that seems reasonable said Trump's numbers were exaggerated and his powers were exaggerated.
The effect on the economy is reported to be dismal as it seems that undocumented aliens are the backbone of agricultural harvesting. Construction could be affected. It could get ugly if the source of cheap, non complaining labour dries up.
I think that is just the tip of the iceberg. Wait til the Yanks find out what it costs to pay real workers. This should be fun to watch.

I watched that video and feel that a lot of the prisoners are innocent but which ones. "I was framed."
My Liberal friends would be appalled at the injustice. However, according to stats from somewhere, El Salvador is safer now than Canada.
No system is perfect but in El Salvador the people can now go out on the streets.
No surgeon enjoys losing a percentage of their patients but if they quit operating, the death toll would be far higher. One has to consider the overall effect.
My concern is the influx of immigrants escaping the USA. We couldn't keep a couple of hundred truckers in line.
Trump's border wall isn't to keep people in, it's to keep them out. We need a new prime minister. Barney Fife would be an improvement.

Shooting suspects at Etobicoke high school wore masks to conceal identity: police

Toronto police are investigating after evidence of gunfire was found at an Etobicoke high school on Tuesday.
Officers arrived at Silverthorn Collegiate Institute at approximately 4 p.m. after receiving a report about two masked individuals who were allegedly spotted with a gun.
The school, located near Burnhamthorpe Road and Mill Road, was locked down until 6:45 p.m. while police searched and cleared the premises.
Approximately 120 people were inside the building at the time of the lockdown. Police say 60 students were inside for a basketball game, and another 60 were preparing for an open house event scheduled for that night.
Dozens of parents lined the sidewalk, waiting for their children to leave the school.
“We were cooking for the Grade 8 open house, and then we heard a gunshot,” one student said. “It was really scary,” another student added.
Duty Inspector Saleem Husain told reporters on Tuesday night that police received information about two masked individuals who were allegedly inside the school with a gun. No further description was provided.
“As far as suspect information at this time, we don’t have any information to give out, as it’s early in the investigation,” Husain added.
School principal Mark Varvas also updated the situation in a letter to parents on Tuesday.
“While evidence of a firearm discharge was located in a stairwell, at this point in time, there are no reports of injuries,” Varvas wrote. “Out of an abundance of caution, there will be a police presence at the school tomorrow, and social work staff will be available to support students as needed.”
