Did some researching...
New motor is $5850-6500 depending on the shop doing it... *OUCH*

Sounds like you need a new neighbour! TO certainly isn't all about neighbourly love.

I'm glad the adjuster experts on the board were able to help you out!

Yeah, new neighbour would be good at this point. At least he's minding his own business after his company stuffed him with 100% at fault.

Hope to find out tomorrow what the story on the bike is - if it's totalled or not.

drive some re-bar down the property line and hang an orange fence, solves any issue with who is on whos lot.

Well here we go... private property. What do you bet it is a saw off at 50/50. Sucks but make a claim to your insurance company. You do have insurance don't you?

This is not how claims on private property work. Despite all the myths that it is.

Source: 3 accidents on private property. Always 100% someone else at fault.

Platinum and Wasted -- thanks so much for your answers.
Truck insurer called today and was completely flabbergasted that Van driver felt he was 0% at fault.

Now, hopefully the bike will be fixed soon so the rest of the season isn't lost.

Another question for both of you -- at what point does a company tend to write a motorcycle off? A percentage of value? Are buy-backs with a branded title still possible?
if the bike does not got branded you can buy back and possibly end up with money in your pocket like I did when I got hit! if cosmetic is more then what bike is worth then it will most likely be a right off.. good luck
