Motorcycle racer killed in crash at racetrack near Belleville, Ont.

Ontario Provincial Police say five motorcycles were involved in a crash during a sanctioned race at the Shannonville Motorsport Park near Belleville, Ont. on Sunday.

It was Jose. His bike stalled on the green flag and there was at least 7 bikes piled up.

5 riders sent to the hospital and Jose unfortunately got rode over in the mess.

It bothers me to see someone hurt while providing entertainment for others. However gladiators would compete even without an audience.

Very sad day indeed. Jose was a friend of mine, always quick with good words and advice. Always had another steak to throw on the BBQ if you were around. I will miss him.
