Shannonville Sept 19th!

I took a new guy and he rode 1 of the 250s all day.

I cashed.

My fault. Bike is fine. Slider took the slide.

I am bruised. Helmet is toast as it slid.

Several other get offs in green and yellow.

So... How was it?

It was amazing day, got to follow some great guys in intermediate and learn some more. only ****** thing is learning how to properly aim the gopro when its on the top of the helmet. I got two session of my speedo and some nice asphalt. lol

Jesus... Sorry to hear man, glad you suffered no injuries, what happened?
My buddy on a red 1098 crashed at the end of the back straight after being "promoted" to intermediate as well.

Totally my fault.

Don't glance behind. I did. I caught the edge of the outside turtle between T2 and T3. Washed my front end out and we went for a long slide.

I broke the golden rule. Let the guy behind you worry about himself. Rookie mistake except I made it myself.

I quit sliding, picked her up and rode her back into pit with slumped shoulders of shame.

I wasn't waiting around for the pickup vehicle and the ride of shame.

So all those other guys on here who say they glance behind sometimes.....take it from someone who has lectured others on the matter....don't....ride your own ride.

Now I need to go eat some humble pie for breaking one of my own rules as the kids are reminding me of my previous lectures to them.

I was behind him when he went off. I saw him riding through the grass when I went by and thought he was going to be able to ride it out without going down.

Glad you're not hurt man, mistakes happen!

Yeah he was telling me he tried to keep it up but ran across some gravel and lost it...

Aw, that sucks! Led him around in the first green session with some others and he seemed to have a good handle on the track. I figured he'd be up in Intermediate soon after.

Had the day I was hoping for. Great weather, lots of track time, and a few good chases with others. Even Dave let me pass him, once :)

See you all in May!

Did you pass me when I was lying on my back between T2 and T3?

It was good to see you at the track John. Now we just need to get that other guy to come out sometime. Tell him he can even bring his wife.

I didn't know you crashed. Glad you are ok and that the bike wasn't damaged.

Glad your ok, looks like we're both shopping for new helmets over winter.... Mine also took a hit and slide when I broke my rule.

I already replaced mine yesterday.

What happened to you? And what was the rule you broke?
