Selling concert tickets

I’m not trying to sell tickets here, but am curious as to how it works.

I was able to get four tickets to a very much in-demand concert. In the heat of the queue, I spent way more than I was planning to spend and am considering selling a pair of them, considering that tickets are said to be selling for a huge premium over face value.

What’s the best way to do this? Stubhub? Selling privately is filled with questions for me- dealing with refunds, for instance, if the show gets cancelled. I looked on Kijiji and Marketplacr and couldn’t find any tickets so I’m assuming reselling tickets is not allowed on those platforms.

Resell through stub hub or Ticketmaster. It’s a huge part of their business.

Not sure about the details but I’ve been trying to score oasis tickets and holy hell…

I looked at Stubhub. They’re suggesting listing the ticket for maybe 20$ more than I paid for them after TicketMaster fees. Which seems a ripoff if accounts of tickets selling for multiples of face value are anything close to accurate.

And I saw something about Ticketmaster only reselling these tickets at face value. When I tried to see what they will buy them back for they say the tickets are not eligible for resale. Which is strange because the ticket details don’t say anything about resale. 🤷

Edit:Stubhub is a scam. They’re showing suggested listing prices (“based on what others are selling for”) for my tickets about 300$ less than they’re selling tickets in the same area for.

You can't resell tickets on Kijiji or Marketplace. There is a Toronto area ticket fb group though to buy/sell tickets. Forget what it's called but a search will locate it easy enough.
I sold a ticket for the first time recently on Stubhub. It was easy enough (although they charge tax on the sale and their fee's are high). My ticket wasn't transferrable through Ticketmaster.

Edit - and what's wrong with my girl Tswizzle? I'll be at that concert, don't be jelly.

Let me know if you can't make it last minute.😉

redflagdeals.com has a buy/sell forum for those.

If it’s a Taylor Swift show let me know. My sister was planning on flying to Europe for a show as it was cheaper than finding tickets here.

She came to her senses.

Ah RFD. In their heyday I used to spend way too much time there snagging deals I didn’t need. I did score a Ridgid Gas pressure washer at Home Depot thanks to a post there. Subaru engine, $150. The sales guy couldn’t believe what his scanner said after I asked Him to scan a box on the top shelf I spotted. As he rolled the cart to the cash he was telling his coworkers excitedly “Look what he just bought for $150”.

My friend made a French vacation out of it.
4 of them were cheaper than 2 similar tickets here.
My sister just sold her 3 TS tickets at a HUGE discount (imho) VIP 100 seats for $2200 each (cost was ~$1300 / each)

OP, selling direct to consumer is best way I've found
I also have a few connects of concert goers
There's also a guy on IG that I use to sometimes broker sales
DM me if you want more info
Plus, I'm also possibly interested in buying your Me*****ca tickets for myself.

Told you before, my celebrity crush is Miley, not Taylor!
Both good looking, but Miley is the type of crazy that I would prefer.

Sister bought them last week. She got a tip on someone selling so was able to snap up two tickets. She didn’t want to say for how much

enough that we don't feel stupid spending on our toys.

let's just go with that.

i finally convinced myself to pull the trigger on a new steering wheel, even though i still cheaped out. OEM would have cost 3x the amount, but i still don't feel good about it.

A steering wheel on your bike is going to look great!
