I would have sold them 2 v stroms for 99000 and been happy
Since the police once again picked the largest possible motor to complete a task they say is mainly about stealth and observation, I would argue the dummies are still on the road and they have badges. A killer seems like the perfect fit for this roll. Nice and tall and if it falls over, brush it off and continue on with your day.Well if it keeps dummies from doing stupid things on the road it might be worth it.
Huh? You dipping into the sauce this morning GG?Since the police once again picked the largest possible motor to complete a task they say is mainly about stealth and observation, I would argue the dummies are still on the road and they have badges. I think bikes for this role are a great idea. I think the police obsession with having the biggest available engine in every vehicle no matter what it's intended role is a symptom of the problems in policing. Ford offered a NA V6 (285 hp) for a while in the police explorer. They sold one of those for every 1000 turbo explorers (400 hp). Small pee pee men in acquisitions (from the outside, can't see if demand is flowing up from street or if they just drive what they are given).Huh? You dipping into the sauce this morning GG?
To be more critical about this purchase it's kinda strange. It's good they are trying to combat distracted driving as it is a huge problem. But buying motorcycles to do it seems to goes against what is happening with other police forces. They seems to be reducing motorcycles or getting rid of them all together, as distracted driving is a year full process which motorcycles cannot be utilized.
So motor officers are being converted into car drivers with proper equipment to combat distracted drivers.
Maybe the above is a pilot program, or they didn't have the budget for cars, either way doesn't seem well thought out.
Anything they can do to get this done and make our roads saver the better.

The cop on the motorcycle will be pretty distracted playing with all the gadgets to catch the distracted driver.
HOLY CRAP!!!They're professionals. They're perfectly capable of using electronic devices eg: phones while driving.
