A friend has this older Katana and would like to get into riding longer distances. He currently has the stock seat on there. I think Corbin made a seat for the 750 Katana, which might be a perfect match, but was wondering if folks on here who have been riding a long time know of other aftermarket seats that work on this bike.

I'd suggest trying an auto upholstery shop
many of them do bike seats and will shape/cover it the way you like
just guessing, but finding something on the shelf for a 2001 ain't gonna be easy
 
Sorry - it’s actually a 2000, not a 2001, just in case there was any difference. I’ve thought about the upholstery shop too, so if you have good suggestions they are appreciated.

I shared the info about the Katana for sale.
I also have a spare Corbin for my brother if he ever takes the bike out of my garage.

matthew, he has the padded cycling shorts which helped for sure, but no other sheepskin or similar seat covers. I think he wants a permanent seat change.
