Seafoam usage clarification

not that my tank is rusted but curios to know that if seafoam is used and your tank leaks how did you work around it?

I emptied the tank, and put a full bottle to 2-3 liters of gas. It started no problems, I let it set over night, but it ate to some gunk sealing the pump plate to the tank:) I would assume that would have happened eventually with gas too ... Fixed that.

I started the engine a number of times, than I added 10 more liters to the thank. Still have to ride it properly at the track (no street legal). But I "believe" it will work:)

SEAFOM IS AMAZING!!!!! this **** works!!!! my bike was messed, it wouldn't even start, so i took off the fuel line, fed about half a bottle directly into the fuel pump line twice, so 1/4 bottle each time, ran it till it died, then let it sit for about 10 mins,then start it up and just let it burn untill all the somke is gone took me about 30 mins. after that take it for a ride. just did this and now the bike is running perfectly, no power hesitation throughout the rpm range, improved idiling!! i was extremely skeptical about using this product but now im really glad that i did!! i was literally about to rip off the carbs and take them to the mechanic!! if youre having troubles give this thing a shot its only $10. i would def use this as a regular preventative measure.

What i've always done is the third option,
ride to reserve, pour in a whole can, ride for a bit to get into the carbs
let bike sit over night
ride to gas station in the morning and fill up with fresh gas

after the first treatment i've never had to deal with smoke coming out of the back (i do this about 1 or 2 times a year)

When you do the method where smoke comes out it's a bit more thorough.
