School me on how I can get into shooting

LeBarons http://www.lebaron.ca/ or Bass Pro have a great selection of Pellet Rifles which do not require a PAL. Last I checked Canadian Tire also have a selection of CO2 hand Guns. Crosman 2240 is a reasonable accurate Handgun that you can mod. Also, .177 spring air guns with a scope are very Accurate and cheap to shoot & maintain.
Note: In the past I went to the Barrie Gun club open house to fire all types of Handguns from Browning .22, .357 mag, 9 mm and 10mm which I shot at 10yrds with reasonable accurately.(For open house only. Normally targets are set at 20yards.
They also have a Air Gun range where I tried out a number of Air rifles and hanguns. Also shot trap using a Browning over and under. Easy to smoke the clays. Lots of fun and was Free.LOL
Not sure if the Gun club still have an open house.
The open house was normaly held in September.
