Scala comunicators any good ?

oh damn that sounds great - I'm forever getting breaks right at the join on headphones and other cables - trying to use a wrap tape which is marginal fix.
Thanks for the tip

I have the Sena SMH10R which is the slim version of the non-R

Pros
well, its less obstrusive looking than the original SMH10
battery is external which can be good, when you want to buy a fresh battery or if you do use it alot you have option to buy a spare battery, have them both charged, and i can guarantee the battery will out last the rider.

Cons
Be aware that the R does NOT have the mp3 / line in jack nor does it have FM radio. I missed those points when i chose mine.
Also, battery life is slightly shorter supposedly. Although I have yet to wear out a battery in one day, even when i go out at 9am and come home after midnight.

never tested the intercom function's range, but mp3 streams fine at any speed that I've tested at, which is up to flow of traffic on 401 and 400 as well as phone calls / incoming / outgoing I have yet to have someone complaint they can't hear me.

the battery I actually kept the battery just out of view (near the base and I can't tell its there), probably not the best idea in case of an accident but I didn't want to keep it in the sun either...
