Back to the thread: I have, on many occasions, though about what it would be like to make my own "saw" games. Kidnap people and make them go through some ridiculous torture to get free, making them a better person, or die.
I would hope it'd shock a little sense into humanity, and maybe we as a society would start to behave differently and have an appreciation for something other than ourselves.
My take on what Kickstartt said,and Roasted defined in the Watchmen, a global pandemic would unite us as one. As it stands, humans are selfish hypocritical beings because there is nothing to challenge us. We get whatever we want, whenever we want it. We take for granted what we have and can do. At least people living technological advanced countries. I'm sure it's different for people living in countries that are still severely undeveloped.
You never truly understand what you have until it's gone. ((I can not find the name of the person who first said this but it has been reworded many times by many different people--usually talking about love but can be for anything.))
