Sadly, not an April Fools joke....

If I had to choose between that and a Burgman, I would sadly have to go with the Honda.

You'd get better gas mileage, you'd hate the DCT.

I suggest most of the commuters will move to that slippery shape including electrics to extend the range.

It cost me $40 for 400 km on the ST1100 the other day, would be 1/3 on the Vultus.

It's a damn sight better than the DN-01. Paddle shifting the DCT is okay - the full auto settng sucks.

Neither BMW nor Suzuki need to be concerned tho it's in the same $11k price segment and a similar target audience. I'll let you know if they bring one to Rock the Red......I'll see how it feels.
It's the first time I've seen a possible use for that NC700/750 POS engine.

One day you may get it....probably not tho.

It's an NC700 meets "stealth fighter" meets Pacific Coast that will cost more than a car... hmmmmmm....

Really not a fan of bikes that completely invert form following function. Also, what's with Honda and front brakes that look like they came off a mountain bike?

Funny; that's EXACTLY what I thought when I saw it.

It's like a DN-01 owner called up wanting a newer version.

Even with factory luggage the streamlining remains...and there is storage up front ahead of the windsscreen ( kinda weird spot )

those odd shapes below the mirrors open up

I like the flip up back rest...I have a tall Daylong backrest and it really works well.
Tiny fuel tank tho, 13.5 litres - still that will go about 300 km given its fuel economy.

Fuel here in Australia is $1.70 a litre, almost $7 a gallon, and it's higher yet in Europe
That starts to be factor in bike choice which Honda has been pushing with the 700/750 motor.

Riders in these intermediates are seeing 70 mpg real over time.

Am I the only one that likes it? .... Guess it helps that I am a die hard Akira fan.

I like it.

Doesnt mean i would buy it, But i dont know why everyones saying its freakishly ugly.

on looks alone, I think its nicer to look at than almost all sprtbikes....

That thing makes the DN-01 look dead sexy.

Wtf? Pure fugly! Oh and auto too? C'mon honda, what are you thinking? LAME

ugly, but yes, people will buy them. Unfortunately.

Mostly in Japan.

Look, japanese manufacturers have to keep fueling the weirdness that goes on in Japan. Probably they don't care at all what North America thinks of it... and whatever numbers they sell here will be icing on the cake...

I guess that's to be expected from a country where everybody looks the same.
