Royal Enfield rear brake problems (hopefully the last)

An interesting theory has surfaced about the rear brake problems I and others were having with our 650s, and as it turns out on some of the 411 Himalayans.
There may have been a bad batch of rear brake lamp switches that were allowing minute amounts of air into the system over time.
A fellow in the States installed a new $50 switch on his 411 Himalayan and voila, problem gone. When I was struggling with mine I damaged the wires coming out of the switch so I also replaced it and have had no issues since. So maybe I fixed it without knowing it ?
The same part from outside vendor Brembo/Bybre is also used on other manufacturers' models, which is why I think it was a bad batch of parts. My 2019 has had no issues, but the 2021 was a PITA.
The 2019 has been waiting for brake caliper parts since October for the Transport Canada recall but that's another story.
FWIW, the brake parts are used many small displacement models from KTM, Husqvarna, Husaberg and GasGas seemingly without issue.
Anyone else want to throw in on this - @adri ?

For what it's worth, I've been very conscious of my 650's brakes while breaking it in. The ergos remind me of my 09 1100 Hypermotard. Of course the 650 doesn't have near the power, but the chassis and brakes have very similar balance. The brakes are very similar as well, even tho the power of the duc's dual radial brembos up front was superior, the rear is probably identical in feel and feedback.
This thing is going to be a ton of fun.
Thanks for your feedback @TK4

Beringer makes a VERY EXPENSIVE bolt-on upgrade, IMO tough to justify.

Re: braking performance. In my constant tinkering and endless quest for improvement the next step will be EBC HH pads - we'll see if that makes any significant change.
