Trucking companies will just pass it on to customers through the rates (like fuel surcharge, congestion surcharge etc.). It's the people driving cars and using roads frequently who should be voicing their disagreement as they have nobody to pass the charge on ....

Wynne will step down soon and initiate a leadership convention to clear the board for the next election. The provincial Tories are still obsessing over non-issues from the previous election, with a thin icing of sanity provided by their website. Along with help from O'Leary's antics on the federal stage, the Liberals should be able to bribe their way back to Queen's Park in 2018. Remember, the entire civil service remembers and loathes Tim Hudak. They won't trust Brown for a second.

The vote buying begins for the Liberal brand, not Wynne. Her role, before a generously funded retirement begins, is to make whatever promises are necessary to keep voters on-board. If the Oakville "gas plants" scandal was any indication, expect deleted e-mails too.

Based on her tit-for-tat with Kevin O'Leary, I would suspect Trudeau & Co. will be donating in some way to her upcoming provincial leadership convention and re-election campaign. With a newly appointed premier slinging poutine onto the plates of the undecided and conflating Canadian conservatives with Donald Trump (no need to imply bogeyman), it should be a cake-walk to a clear majority. Don't blame me, that was my predecessor! And the claws dig deeper for another four years.
 
Just before he called an election in 1971, then Premier Davis cancelled the Spadina Expressway.
It was for the same reason Wynne stopped the tolls....vote getting.
On the bright side, Wynne has promised Toronto a bigger piece of the fuel tax pie starting in 2021.
Like she'll still be Premier in 2021.

This city is screwed, just give up on the transportation.
They have no money or can't agree what to build.
Most of the surface problems can be solved by running the double buses and giving them diamond lanes to use during rush hours.
We do not need LRT's. For certain we do not need street cars but hey ppl want to pay the tens of $$$ for the nostalgia.

Build all you want, until they completely demolish the connection points e.g. DVP/401 then we ill just create longer lines aka gridlock.

They are still trying to force ppl out of cars...1970's mentality still hard at work:lmao:
 
Maybe more like 1950's mentality.Toronto is screwed.Man i love it here in Waterloo.Even with our own LRT.
