What a bunch of ****ing babies. Face it, the better team won. Luongo let 3 out of the first 13 shots in, hardly stanley cup material at all, and now they are all crying? God-damn people are pathetic... how about getting violent over something important, like taxation or ******** government or something other than something that was deserved?
Exactly. I love how the mayor said it was all due to a small amount of trouble makers. Well if you had planned properly wouldn't the police be able to handle a "small" amount of people, lol.

Yeah I never understood rioters that damaged cars, nearby shops, city material...they are completely irrelevant to the outcome of the game!

I figured this would happen. Was either going to be rage riots over a loss or celebration riots over a win.
Classy city that Vancouver. Was great when they stuck their noses up at us over the G20. At least those riots made sense and were for a "worthy cause".

From what I hear (and I mostly believe it) it's not the hockey fans that are rioting (a bunch of the fans wearing jerseys were saying how it makes them look bad) but just hooligans. I mean if you watch the video its just a bunch of teens and young adults wrapping their faces up with shirts smashing things. You'd think that having them do it on video allows the police to press charges but they don't seem to do much save for the occasional beat-down.
It sucks to live in a city that riots though, think of all those small shop owners. I would grab a bunch of friends and stand in my shop with baseball bats and intimidating items lol. but yes, shameful to see, police shoulda brought out the beanie shotties.

Yes I agree that beanies and tear gas should of been present as well. It's absolutely unnecessary and completely idiotic. As a rioter after a major sports event, you aren't proving anything to anyone. You're just staining the image of the team, city, country...
