Riding to Work in the Rain. How do you Dry Your Gear?

That better be non-production hardware :P

Don't you "computer people" know any boundaries? No one wants to smell your stinky socks.

When it rains on my way to work I generally ride commando and bring an extra pair of pants and boxers with me in my tankbag. Near my desk is a fan and I lay my wet jeans over it and it dries my pants in a couple hours (depends on how wet they got). My boots are rated waterproof so I never have wet feet. My gloves I put on the fan with my jeans. And my leather jacket keeps my shirt dry.

When I get to work on my bike a lot of people react with "wow you ride even in the rain? That must suck for you!". In reality the only part of me that gets wet are my legs and crotch. Cagers....

What boots do you have? Do they get hot in the summer?

horny toads, sidi gortex boots, and +2 at the H20 gloves above.

NO MORE DRYING STUFF! Though because I treat my bike as if it's my second gf, I have stopped riding during the rain. I just can't leave it out for 8 hours in a parking lot getting soaked!

Got a full service washer/dryer here and I'm good with the cleaning staff

I have the TCX X-Cube. They are amazingly comfortable to me (dont forget everyone has different shaped feet) and I've ridden in the rain many times with them, never had wet feet.
They will get warmer than your sneakers or vented boots, but its nothing unbearable actually. I can wear them all day if I had to.
With jeans covering the upper half of the boot, they look like shoes, very subtle.

Someone was selling a pair here on gtam classifieds, not sure if they are still available.

1 piece rain suit that hangs up in the washroom. Small team so no problem with theft. Goretex boots, waterproof overgloves

Frogg toggs and some Oxford waterproof gloves. I just shake the water off my gear and give my helmet a wipe down with a microfibre cloth. Socks get a little bit wet around the top of the ankle, but I'm working on getting a pair of gore-tex boots. New bikes and babies are expensive lol
