Best area for riding around collingwood is west towards feversham/ thornbury/ meaford. Get on top of blue mountain and there's some nice paved roads out there, check out grey rd 13 into Kimberly, grey rd 19, grey rd 2, and there's some nice paved country roads further west of meaford that take you to small towns like Walters falls, bogner. I use to ride one big loop, grey 19 to grey 2 south to feversham take the 8th west to grey 13 ( that's euginia area) then north on grey 13 down the valley to thornbury, hit grey 40 to 26 and back to C wood..
Best part of this area is not much traffic, many paved roads, lots of farm land and little police presents.
Just start taking random paved roads and you'll have fun, north is hwy 26 or water, east is hwy 24, south is hwy 4 and west is hwy 10... You'll never get lost!
