Riding in this weather

I took the duc for a spin in my condo garage, god damn these things are obnoxiously loud.

While it did put a smile on my face the second I got on, flashbacks of biker ********* revving at red lights made me cringe.

Riding a motorcycle involves taking responsibility for your actions and choices. That involves deciding when you ride. It is significantly more dangerous to ride in this weather whether you think it looks dry or not. Black ice is a son of a *****. I ride all year around because I don't own a car but I do that accepting that it is more dangerous and requires a different style of riding. If youre going to do do it then get out there and start riding...my opinion is if you have to question it then you shouldnt be doing it.

If the weather forecast holds up, I don't think I'll be able to resist the temptation on Friday.

Come on.

Jesus Christ.. I remember making a thread EXACTLY like this before I ever rode my first bike... having it sitting there waiting for me all through the winter.

Obviously I still went out and rode - it was fun.. but now that I have some ex points under my belt - I wouldn't recommend it for all the same reasons people mentioned to me... Regardless... you still will obviously take it out.. so good luck.

Here you go.. lmao: http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforu...-bike-for-the-first-time-this-Saturday-advice

Lol, hey! I commented on that! I thought you started riding before I did O_O. Guess not.
