Riding in full gear...

I mean COME ON! every few days a new thread is created, I think I am going to start riding completely naked cause I am sick of seeing these threads, and I am a "gear nazi". lol :)

**** if I see one more gear thread I will go out in my GF's panties.
You gotta at least film that for us ;)

I don't even want to ride today after hours out in my gear yesterday....it was totally a car-day today. All the windows down and Cajun-blues rockin'! I'll probably ride tonight though, after the sun's gone down for a bit.

Wore black leather jacket, full length gloves and boots with riding jeans. Wasn't too bad. I didn't really start to sweat until I got home, threw on my shorts and t-shirt and when for a run outside!

U guys r troopers. Shorts and a tee on days like today. Too hot for even my vest and short gloves. No been helmet though lol ya wearing one of those on an r6 just doesn't look rite

Rev'It! Sand jacket and pants over dryfit tights and shirt plus an evaporative vest. I didn't find it that bad out there since the humidity was around 40-50%, the vest did its thing.

ATGATT

I passed Thursday and Friday. Rode to work today (Saturday), nice in the morning at 6:30. A bit warm coming home at 1, so I took highway all the way to avoid stoplights.

I find anything up to about 32-34 okay, especially if I'm moving. Hot weather gear consists of perforated jacket, mesh pants, perf gloves and full boots. The arai helmet has lots of vents, and I open it at stops.

Last year I got caught in The Valley of Fire (near Vegas) in 36°C heat, with the full leathers on. Ended up riding commando under the leather pants, which helped.

For a short commute (say 15 minutes) I have found the bike with gear no worse than the car, which while it has AC, starts out much hotter. I take my gear into the office to take advantage of the AC which helps setting out. I have been tempted a couple of times to throw the helmet in the fridge an hour before riding!
