Bigfoot lives the proper way......
I thought it would be the opposite, the rich person eventually starting to resent the friends they keep paying for feeling like they're just there to mooch off them. When a rich acquaintance/friend has paid for me in the past I always feel like I have to say something like "are you sure? you don't have to" especially if it's something I could technically pay for myself but wouldn't splurge on whatever it was.
Seems like most people will find a way to be ****** for whatever reason eventually.
You can pay my way and I’ll never resent you!
I get it. It can easily be an awkward situation with no easy answers. Even if you can find a group of people with similar disposable income, hanging out exclusively in those circles narrows your view of the world (and if too much of the money came from ancestors instead of work, they are often annoying wankers). I have some friends that let me play with their toys but it can be awkward. If I hurt the toy, the cost to fix can exceed my ability to pay. That's a crap situation to be in. That's why I have cheaper toys that I can afford to fix.
Get yourself friends with clinical depression, no pride to be found and just happy for people that seem to genuinely care about having them around.it is the person benefiting who gets resentful most times. I think it’s pride.
No thanks. If you aren’t happy I don’t want you dragging me down . There’s enough negative crap in life to deal with already. I want to be surrounded with positive upbeat people as much as possible. Then get yourself friends with clinical depression, no pride to be found and just happy for people that seem to genuinely care about having them around.
Common misconception, I guarantee you know or have met people with diagnosed depression who always seem happy and positive but you would never know thoughts of suicide cloud their mind every day.No thanks. Maybe but it seems to come out in other ways eventuallyCommon misconception, I guarantee you know or have met people with diagnosed depression who always seem happy and positive but you would never know thoughts of suicide cloud their mind every day.
People can only hide their true colours/intentions for so long. Eventually the truth always comes out.Maybe but it seems to come out in other ways eventually
OKAY OKAY i'm only using you for Limoncello, you happy???People can only hide their true colours/intentions for so long. Eventually the truth always comes out.
Been saying that for a year. But people's feelings are more important apparently.Anyone ponder how so many of these recent motorcycle accidents, have lead to death once in Hospital? esp given the new orders to stop elective surgeries and doctors having the right to decide who lives, and who dies.
This is just speculation (and last year, and this year, I lost 2 relatives to heart attacks/strokes in the UK, both of which paramedics could have saved as they were reached in time, however, once the doors were closed and they were taken away from family, families got calls saying they died. Speaking with nurses, and hearing accounts, they all know it was due to not wanting to save them/taking up space)
My gut feeling is, the same thing is happening here. I know of a few nurses here who quit due to unethical practices they found in the last year in hospitals of basically culling patients.
What's unethical if the hospital capacity has been reached? They are working with limited resources and unfortunately that means that some that could have been saved in normal times are not. Obviously I have no insight into your specific situation or the criteria the doctors used to decide who lives and dies.My gut feeling is, the same thing is happening here. No, he is claiming that they are killing patients to save up beds. Hilarious. What's unethical if the hospital capacity has been reached? May still be ethical not to treat depending on the circumstances. If there is a high liklihood that they will spend a long time in hospital and/or low probability of good quality of life afterward, letting them go now preserves capacity for those that have a chance. No, he is claiming that they are killing patients to save up beds.
