I was there last night, rode by at 10 and at 11:30. Saw the ramps closed and wondered what was up. That's really sad news. It definitely was cold compared to the day time temperatures but it shouldn't have had that much of an impact on the tires (my M3s were holding perfectly well). It wasn't too windy at night either. So sad to hear someone so young pass away. RIP and condolences to the family.
One thing I do want to point out, when riding in a group, try to keep in mind of the experience level that is riding with you, if you know you have new riders with you, you should take some responsibility in ensuring their safety and not putting them in a position to harm themselves. Not blaming anyone here, and I acknowledge the fact that everyone makes their own decisions, but if you have a new rider with you, try to teach and coach them as opposed to showing them how good you ride... just my 2 cents
