This is my favourite response, and the one I'm gonna go with :). We may be strangers, but we all have something in common, and why not wave, it's the friendly thing to do. If you see me out there, I'm the guy waving at you!

For whatever reason I find it depends on what you ride. Cruisers and Sport bike guys for whatever reason have "beef" and don't ackowlegde each other in the city. I'll talk to or ride with anyone. But bike culture itself is just retarded sometimes, listen to some of the people at a Les/Lake meet sometime. Some nerdlinger that works a 9-5 in a IT job gets insta tuff for having a HD but he's never been in a fight in his life, or has a Ducati and transforms into an insta cool rossi look'a'like chick magnet.

I didnt delete it.... Only posts I have ever deleted were my own repeats.

Glad you have drawn your own conclusion :) people have their own reasons for what they do. And honestly nothings wrong with any of them. All are very valid though the stranger part... well, its not like your running up to them and giving them a kiss. But its still a valid point and really.... to each their own.

BUT I'll be out there waving back!

While I agree that there's no need to be mean, "search before posting" is mentioned in the T's&C's that you have to agree to when you sign up here. Am I the only one who reads these things? :-)

Hey guys. I was hoping this deletion thing would subside. It's nice to have a new rider (AjaxRider) to the Forum, and next time I'll check my wording more carefully before posting. But I didn't delete my post, and if Cat13 didn't, then who did???

Agreed. And the one who did was kind enough to inform me I could have deleted the post instead of respond to it. Im still new to the mod'ing side of things so thank you again to the one who helped me :)
 
I find I wave less when listening to music and in the core. I focus more on my own lane and whats around me and lose a bit of peripheral. I usually feel bad if I miss a wave. country roads I usually just shove my arm out a full 20 seconds in advance and hang it there. less easy to do that in the city when there's 30 taxi's dive bombing me.
