Ride north tomorrow?

Short notice for a long ride.

I'll be at the Timmies at Woodbine and 16th Ave in Markham at 7:30am and leaving at 8:00am sharp.

There's an Esso station there. Please fill up.

Route to be discussed at the riders pre-trip meet.

Expect to log around 700-800kms, and be back around 9:00pm or later.

Tinted visored riders please bring a clear visor.

If you need to leave early that's fine.

PM me please if you're interested.

I'd like to keep it around 6 people. But if more show up I'll split the group, with a second lead.

It's a ride at your own pace ride. We'll stop for lunch, but breaks are short while we gas up.

Please show up full gas tank and empty bladder.
 
Unfortunately I won't be able to make it this weekend, but SmellyBean is an awesome and responsible leader.

I'll be down next weekend for sure though.

I got 891 kms on mine.
And you had further to go to get home.
It was a great day. Glad we bought those maps and explored some new roads.
And once again I apologize for that one shot 240km non stop run to Bracebridge. But the burger was worth it.
 
Yes that burger was totally worth it.

The GPS says I did 801.71 KM from our meet up point till I got home, and from home to the meet up point is 47.6KM(according to google maps) so thats a total of 849.31 KM. It was only 37KM to get home from our last stop. Its possible the GPS wasn't supper accurate since it was sitting in my bag. Next trip out hopefully I have the mount so it will gets clear line of sight and I''ll reset my trip meter on the bike before I leave that way I can compare the two.
 
Sounds like SmellyBean is leading some fun rides at a respectable pace. You guys thinking of doing another this coming weekend?
 
I need to get in on this too... you guys accepting 300s??
 
Max we hit on that ride was 130ish so you should be fine on a 300 :)

Yeah Smelly is good at leading. 300s are fine as long as you're comfortable with passing cars every now and then. We pretty much ride the speed limit, especially through towns.. but ride your own pace in the corners. We wait for everyone at the end of the road.
