RG500 Rebuild Finished

Just noticed the little divot in the bodywork to allow the pillion pegs to fold up flush. Nice. What does "full floater suspension" refer to? A multi-link monoshock rear?
 
Suzuki called its suspension systems "full floater" for years. I'm sure some marketing wonk thought it a catchy slogan.

With a rider that knows how to ride a 2 stroke, a Gama 500 will run down any 750 on the street. In reality, it will run with most current 9's and 1000's too. And 2 Strokes are just a LOT MORE FUN to ride!
 
This thread brings back memories of borrowing my friend's Walter Wolf Special Gamma back in the early 90's. Fantastic machine, and I can speak about scaring the hell out of a GSXR 750 rider who challenged me to a run over the Granville Street bridge in Vancouver.

Looks fantastic...wish I had $9000 in the bank. I probably will spent a few $$ trying to get my RZ350 to look half as good and take me twice/three times as long to do it.

Some lucky person can have a piece of motorcycle history.

I saw that exact model bike (but red bodywork) on the dyno at Pro6 today! Thing was INSANE, just kept revving and revving! Did 106hp on the dyno, made most of the current model 600's look silly! :)

They had to let the shop air out for a good 20 mins after the dyno run, lol!
