I am trying to build a mod for my motorcycle. I need a 5" long by 3/8" diameter return spring. I looked all over but I cant find one anywhere.

Anyone got any leads?

 
Can you vary any parameter? Do the ends have to be excatly as shown in the picture?
 
Any good shop specializing in fasteners has an assortment of springs .... not sure whether they are going to have the right tension and size though, because they all use similar or identical supplier(s).
 
If you're handy with a pair of needlenose pliers you can modify a spring that's close to your required specs.
 
For sure try the fastener stores. Even look up McMaster Carr on line, they usually have an assortment.
