@PrivatePilot I think thay I may have figured it out. When using the browser forum, and you reply with quote, iirc you need to type in a different spot. Maybe op is typing in the regular body of the reply post and therefore it is not being recognized?
I've only used the pc a handful of times, so I may be completely off.

I think they key is that if you try to include everything (including your intended response) inside the quote tags the forum won't accept it since it thinks *you* didn't actually type anything.

Signatures seem to vary on that depending on tapatalk or not, I think.
