hair dryer and some patiences, you'll need to rub the sticky stuff off by hand. some alcohol pads may help

Thanks for the tip removed the tank pad and install the new one

I know this is an old thread but peanut butter works magic on the residue left over from peeling off the "sticker". Put some PJ on the goo and let it sit for about two minutes. Wipe off and done!

+1 on the hair dryer & WD-40. It doesn't take long to heat it up and you should be able to pull it right off.
