Wow. Im Sure this program will work for a man who apparently isn't religious but swears to God he's going to be good.

Canada really does have a revolving door justice system. Reminds me of the guy that cut the person's head off on the bus... wonder where he is now. The guy that did the van attack in toronto will probably do very little time in prison too if any at all.

The police are not there to protect law abiding citizens. They will also crack down on you and ruin your life if you try to protect yourself, your family or your life work in canada. Your best bet to protect yourself and family is to do well and move to a safe neighborhood, preferably one where some politicians live.

Because we have a weak system and soft judges. The whole system is ******. As an organizer for such a plot this man should never see the light of day again. No excuses.

If you want to blow up a basically peaceful country, go live somewhere else. If you were born here I hope you enjoy your new location. Hopefully too, the polar bears won't rip through your tent.

Why aren't we subbing this type of incarceration to China?

No point blowing stuff up in a war torn country thats already bombed to the ground, it would be like peeing in a sea of piss. Now if you go to a starbucks and pee on the counter... people notice. Which begs the question, why are terrorists allowed into the country, who is vetting them?

Words from little ones

When my daughter was little we were watching the news and somewhere in the middle east soldiers were firing tear gas at rock throwing crowds.

My daughter asked where the rocks were coming from. We live in a paved neighbourhood.

I made the simplistic answer that they were around because the soldiers had blown up the people's houses.

My daughter remarked that if the soldiers didn't blow up the houses the people wouldn't have rocks to throw.

Maybe we should let the four year olds run the country.

Cant vet them well enough. That would be discrimination on the basis of religion. They just act a certain way to fool our naive politicians. Like the ISIS member who was spotted on a London On. bus by a woman he assaulted back home.
Doesnt help when you award $10m to a terrorist who fights against our armed forces.
People like the Khadrs should never have been allowed to come to Canada. There are plenty of people like them here who dislike Canada and the west but are here for the benefits.
Air India bomber is a free man roaming around Vancouver. He killed 329 people, never showed remorse and refused to name anyone else involved.
I dont care if he lives for another 50 years, he should have never seen the outside of prison.
The pathetic Yonge street van attacker is going to get off because psychologists (whose livelihoods depend on the nonsense some of them spew) have determined it wasnt his fault. He knew exactly what he was doing but in with our weak justice system he will probably get off

I lived in Northern Ireland, easy to find rocks when you want to. Also really easy to make a petrol bomb
