Well you know what buddy? I'm glad they don't, but I'm sure they will take it if they saw it, shoot they even stole a mop that my Mom had outside.... yes a dirty and humid mop.
just goes to show you that you shouldnt waste your money on chains and alarms. If a thief wants your bike, they will get it.
theives love that ****, its just more stuff for them to sell.
I can believe this. I had a alarm and chained to the post with a reinforced chain. Even l thought it was safe. No other bikes were taken from the garage...
I do have full theft, but worried that this is going forever impact my insurance. I already have a crash that resulted in a total write off. It's a compleely different story when it happens to you
If they want it, they'll take it. Your only way to stay sane is insurance.
A total theft has no deductible and will not affect your insurance rates.
What are your plans for your next bike? 2013 636? Don't let this discourage you.

I'm reppin Kawasaki. Finally someone is putting out some impressive products. Track ready Ninja 300 with a slipper clutch? Woot. I'm recommending it to everyone over the CBR 250 now, cause it's got fuel injection finally! And the ZX10, absolute monster on the dyno, nice.thats the second time you have endorsed the new 636 lol!
but i hear that...i would be all over that 636 if i had the coin.
Pretty bike!I cant just get an another new bike... How long before it get stolen... I guess ill have to stop or settle for something that not attractive to steal.
what chain did you have on it? what lock?
Did you buy this Bike at Kahuna by any chance?
Also; if you're going to try and replace it right away, speak to them (insurance) about suspending your insurance temporarily - not too long though because the monthly rate will increase as you'll have the amount owing on your policy spread over less months. If you cancel, you'll most likely owe them a bunch of money on your policy...and they'll expect you to pay up.
Sadly, this topic I know; Insurance will ask you for the police report number. If you haven't filed a report do it - ASAP. You will have to pay your deductible but they can take it out of the settlement cheque if you want. I was told as it was 'total loss' due to theft, it would have no bearing on my rate in the future.
So when im ready for a new bike l can hopefully pay the same amount. I dont want to quit riding but till l have my own garage l cant risk it no more
don't worry about having turned down the proximity. It wouldn't have made any difference.I had an OXFORD chain 8ft long with a scorpio i900 alarm installed. At the time the scorpio alarm was on a more lax setting. I had to set it down because the guy in the parking spot next to me would set it off while parking. It look like they grinded the lock off and ran with the chain intact. There was metal shavings there but very little. Seems like they kept efficient as stealing it.
