recommended motorcycle dolly for garage?

my original plan of buying a new bike and selling the old one never materialized. i'm gonna keep both lol. but my garage can really only comfortably fit 1 bike and my car.

after a lot of manoeuvring, i managed to get my second bike in front of my car, with literally less than a 1cm to spare. but im not gonna do this every time i park it.

the other side of the bike is about another foot or so of space, but i cant get my bike to utilize that area without pushing it from the side somehow. my bike has no center stand (i plan on installing one but i've seen those tiny mini-dollies that only fit the center stand part and keep hearing people dropping their bikes with them) so i want to get one of those full length dollies like this:

anyone have a specific one they can recommend? both my bikes are essentially mid-weight standards (400lb to 450'ish lb).

I was at the airport bike show a number of years back with my wife and saw a booth selling a roll-about with a Harley on it. My 108 pound wife inquired about how hard it would be to push and was told to try. She gave it a heave and it slid across the floor just about bowling over a couple of spectators.

She was "I'm sorry , I'm sorry," but it was the best demo the seller could have asked for.

For my 1500 Goldwing I made a lift that picked up the whole bike and I could move it anywhere I wanted in my one car garage and within a quarter of an inch from the wall. With lifts that kept a wheel on the ground sometimes nudging the bars would cause the bike to squirm and then the rear boxes would rub against the block wall.

It worked but didn't roll that well because of the cheap wheels I got from a friend who in turn got them from a Princess Auto car dolly. The wheels were cast iron and not even concentric. You get what you pay for.

Still it let me, in about two minutes, have the bike parallel and tight to the end wall of the garage with enough room for the mini van.

Never used one, but this looks like a good alternative to a full-length dolly that weighs less and takes up less space when not in use. Seller is in Collingwood and is asking $75:

Ok so I ended up picking this up for $50. The owner used this for a Harley street glide which is twice the weight of my bikes so I figure it should be fine.

Brought it home and was annoyed that my royal enfield 650 wouldn’t fit on it. The kickstand is too close to the rear wheel to get it onto the dolly, despite adjusting the dolly's 'arm' as short as it can go.

Turns out it fits my Ducati just perfectly though. And it’s easier to push around anyway since it’s lighter than my other bike.

Congrats! If you really wanted the Enfield on it, you could probably just cut down the adjustable section to shorten it.

A few people from another forum have commented on these for ST1100 & ST1300 type bikes, big heavy beasts. Works well and because both wheels are lifted you can maneuver the rig very close to a wall.

Border will be open soon or find something similar locally.
