Ever get the feeling of being damned if you do or damned if you don't.
Well, this past weekend I meet some great people on a few meets and rides. On one particular ride as I've done many times before, I forgot to close my zipper pocket and my insurance and bike registrations fell out of my pocket.
I said to myself, perhaps I should wait and see if someone is nice enough to find my documentation and send it in the mail. So what do I do. Of course I wait in line at the local Service Ontario and pay to re-register my bikes and take the time to go to my insurance agent to get temporary papers and all of that. After about 3 hours of my morning being shot, I go about my day.
Of course my mind is now at ease of the fact that if I were to be pulled over, the popo wouldn't give me grief and that my unsigned documents wouldn't fall into the wrong hands if found at all.
I get home from work and the phone rings. It's my insurance agent. Hi Roy, I got a call from Janet who wants to reach you as she found your documents in Cedar Springs. Damn!!! I'm both happy and upset at the same time.
Happy that there are still good people out there willing to help and upset at myself for not waiting at least one day to see if the documentation would turn up like it did and not spent time and money.
So I ask you fellow GTAM member, are you a procrastinator or are you like me and can't sleep well until everything is done.
