I think everyone should at least know how to oil change their bike. I watched youtube videos and mechanics do it and seems simple enough, so i want to get my hands dirty and who doesn't love saving couple of bucks.

So first things first is i need a rear stand, i believe i would need the hook type and get sockets. Any idea where i can get a decent one around 20-30$?

Re: Rear stand for 250ninja

the ones from kapsco are cheap, but remember they are cheap not "economical"

they are good for your first set, just dont expect them to be like the high quality ones. But they WILL WORK for a 250 to learn how do service your own bike. Good luck!

I bought mine new for I think $70. Bought from Burlington Cycle

uh half decent stands cost $100-$200 bucks - that's ONE stand. Are you seriously hoping to get a center stand for $20? If you do ever find one please let me know.

I've been using mine for 3 years now and no issues.
I've stored my bike on them all winter and use them for the small jobs that I can do.

If you feel better about spending $200+ on a Pitbull then by all means, go for it!

For a oil change you don't even need a stand. Drain the oil into the pan, and sit the bike up right to get the last bit of oil out. Put it back together, when you refill the oil. Just get a friend to check the level through the oil window.
