Ready Honda Demo Day! Saturday June 11

I hope I can make it out. It's fun riding something that's not 8 years older then you
That's not saying too much there youngin ;)

Make sure to bring your gear...
Define gear? Is it a REQUIREMENT?

And why is there NO mention of this on the readyhonda's website? Even the online chat person said they had no idea about a demo ride on Sat. WTF?

The test fleet is provided by Honda Canada, not Ready Honda.

Yep gear is a requirement, usually helmet jacket gloves boots and atleast jeans. The ride is on Saturday as the OP said, and as the salesman said when I called in.

That's not a current model, doubtful it will be available.

Demo rides are a first come first serve basis. If the bike you wish to demo is out with another person you will have to wait till they return. Demo rides will run roughly 20 min at a time. The bikes currently available for demo rides are (CBR600RRA, CBR1000RRA, CBF600, CBF1000, Shadow Spirit, Shadow RS, Shadow Phantom, Varadero, VTX1300C, VT1300 stateline, VT1300 interstate, DN-01, VFR800, VFR1200 and the 10' Goldwing.

Are boots a must?

Tested the shadow and veradero, very fun! Wish I had time to take the cbf600+ 1L for a ride.

Tested VFR800 and CBR600. Not many people showed up. They are going for ride #7 or #8 right now. Awesome!!!

Stoopid work. I couldn't make it out. Definitely want to try the CBR600 as it is a contender for my next bike. :(

Took out the cbr600rr, cbf600 and the cbr1000rr. The 1000rr is awesome! So smooth compared to the 600rr. Can't stop thinking about it :)

CBR250 FTW lol...Just sold my GSF 500 last week so wanted to just ride something. Nice 250, would buy one if I was starting out and never road a bike before. Although, a 500 (either ninja or GSF) would be better as it has a bit more power and is bigger....

Want to ride a SV650s as thats what I am thinking of upgrading to....got to wait for a Suzuki Demo Day.

Haha yea, I love mine.. the 600s feel like toys afterwards.. Handling isnt so bad on the 1000RR either, huh? Dunno if the new ones still come with a 190/50 .. once you put a 190/55 it definitely reminded me of my 600

Crap I should have got there earlier or later and not at 10:30am when the wait was 1.5 hours.

varadero + cbr600 + cbf1000 + vfr1200 + vfr800 what an awesome day :)

Took out the CBF600; CBR250; VFR800; ended with CBR600! Another great day on two wheels =D

My first impressions:
CBF600: Amazingly comfortable, feels like a couch. I could sleep on it. Very steady throttle and thin body. Sat quite upright. 8/10

CBR250: Fun lil bike! Flicks left and right like a B1tch slap to a h0e. It's quite speedy, you think you're going slow cuz its a 250 but you look down and you're going 90. Sits like I'm hovering above it. Truly perfect for beginners. 7/10

VFR800: Fantastic ride! Sits high, love it when the Vtec kicks in! Great acceleration.+1 for the aftermarket exhaust! 8/10

CBR600: My dream bike! This things goes FAST! 2nd gear and I'm flying!...with still more to go on the tach! It's very low, Kinda feels like I"m hovering over it like the cbr250. I can see why my wrists and back would kill. Seating positing for me was a comfortable fit when I'm tucked in. Very responsive engine and I just loved the take off. 9/10
The end of a great day!
