Rc 390!

I don't think 1/2 a second and 3 mph in the quarter mile matters much. We are talking about beginner bikes and noob riders. Just buy whichever one "floats your boat". I'll bet the 10 pound weight difference would be gone if the r3 had abs.

Not that it will matter to you as I can see, but the test was a lot more than just 0-60 times or max speed. Handling, suspension, tranny .... And most importantly how the bikes feels riding in the real world.

But whatever, I just didn't see R3 on poster's list. Forget that I suggested tgat it would have left the old concept Ninja in the dust. My bad .... LOL
 
A slipper on a 300?

It can help on any size of bike, if done correctly. Unfortunately on a lot of bikes, especially less expensive ones, it doesn't work all that good, plus it creates fuzzy inconsistent launches which many beginners don't really realize. I would agree that on a beginner bike I would prefer standard clutch, so one can learn what happens when you do something wrong .....
