Don't ask him where/how he smuggled it in... but let's just say if anyone else wants a shock brought in he has "room".

LOL, sounds painful. But didn't you just share a room with him for a few days? Dunno... :D

BTW dude, I haven't heard your Jennings Report. How did it go?

Annu got quicker than Feb. Because I dragged him around. I did a 1.28.13, which I thought I'd bored everyone about already!!! Annu was milliseconds slower. The funny thing about there just being the 2 or us is that we spent so much time focused on riding, analysing and improving. No fires to put out, no bikes to mend, no practical jokes to avoid etc etc etc.............................

Good stuff! I would have loved to go. Were there less crashes this time around from the other folks? Running those times did you guys hit the advanced group? I really enjoyed all the open track when I did that.

We didn't need to move to advanced, there was lots of space in intermediate. Chris was on fire (figuratively not literally). I was happy with my 1:28s and then Chris walked away from me... who knew he was a suzuki rider at heart? :)

Less crashes than our trip in Feb for sure and on last day it was so hot in the afternoon that no one was riding ... they actually went to an open track and only one rider went out.

Ah cool - I didn't think it would be possible to get empty track doing those times in intermediate. I think we were all getting frustrated in Feb. 1:28 is pretty quick though. I'm so bummed I can't ride this year. I see the orthopaedic surgeon this month....... maybe Barber in October.... anyone. :D Actually I don't even know if I will be able to swing that... MAYBE. I just found out the orthopaedic surgeon rides!

I meant to say 1:29 for me. I was just happy to be faster than last time. Barber would be cool... need a new thread :)

Yes... Tremclad pretty much sticks to anything! lol
3 or 4 coats should do it... Wet sand between coats.

thanks, already started sanding the old crap off for some repairs and will be receiving my full TCC membership once I get some pictures up in a few weeks.

New members are always welcome!
I guess I should update how my Tremclad paint job is holding out after 4 track days... EXCELLENT !!!, enough said.

I noticed after the first day for me, there were some high traffic spots on the side fairings where my suit would hit and the combination of the traffic and me not sanding that particular area, the paint did flake off. But the joy of tremclad, sand the spot (properly this time) pop the can open, grab a foamy brush and looks brand new. Was talking to Chris too from GWB and he mentioned that he's thinned tremclad out 50/50 before, sprayed it through a gun and it turned out top notch. Might be worth a try?

done second coat of paint, gonna do 1 more and if I like how it turned out, then I'll leave it at that. I'll buff it and get some pictures posted in a few days.
