I've seen tests done with a detector detector not picking up leakage right beside the bel unit. So its close enough to 0.

In Ontario, avoid them. They dis-inhibit you and pretty much guarantee you will be busted. For every speed measurement tactic, there is a countermeasure, and there is countermeasure detection.
To this day, ships and warplanes use "chaff" to confuse radar and laser based targeting systems. Though blowing bits of tinfoil all over the road would probably be frowned upon. Stealth craft use radar absorbing paints, and weird angles that cause radar signals to deflect in another direction. A effective laser/radar proof faring for a motorcycle could probably be made, but you would need to do the helmet and visor as well. To get a sense of what it would look like, you would look like you were riding a big piece of origami. Very William Gibson I suppose. The optics would be a bit of a challenge. We're already into essentially building StreetHawk at this point (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCItnKrXvMM).
