RACE Superseries program for July 20-22 is now up!

Check my gallery (link to page in sig).

Great pics Rob! The weekend was a blast, Novice 600 was a rush. Ended up finishing 4th, sadly saw Terry's wipeout coming out of turn 7 (right hander) that nearly collected the bike I was battling with.

Got a PB and a podium in Middleweight Sportsman, bit of a lonely ride as the two front runners took off into the distance pretty early. Looking forward to coming back in September :)

Brett, did you and Trevor Millar end up running in the AM600? Are they asking you to step up next round? That won't be unwelcome new to Todd75 and myself, lol!

Anyway, congrats again on your results!

It was a great weekend. They did ask me to step up, but being the first weekend, and am would have been 1 race before novice i politely declined. I won't be back til next year. Baby on the way in a couple weeks so i'm just doing a couple track days then thats it for the year. After that new personal best of 1:57 in the race, i doubt i'll be allowed in novice again, i have no idea where that time came from other then i figured Todd was gonna try a move back so i slammed the gas on everywhere. Maybe novice on a different track as i've only ever been on long track. But i wouldn't mind stepping up to am. Sort of a badge of honour i guess. Anyways i'll be at a couple more track days then hopefully out for all the weekends next year. It was good meeting everyone out there!

It was great to see some new racers out this past weekend.

Rob, thanks for the great photos. That checkered in Masters felt good after giving it up in AM600. I led every lap in that race until I messed up the hairpin on the last lap and got passed. I tired to get back but there was just no time and Riley got the win.

A great story to tell my daughter who will be born in about 2 weeks from now!!

No idea what was going on in the hairpin, all weekend. Seemed like 90% of the incidents took place there. Did the traction feel off? Dusty track?

dricked,

my name's Jeff, my brother and I were pitted next to Riley. I happened to notice you during the pro superbike race cause I was sitting near to your dog in the shade at the top of the grandstand and asked your girlfriend (?) what number you were.

Oh ok so we briefly talked when I came over and talked to Riley, good to put a name to a face. That's my wife Sarah. We were pitted near eachother on my last track day there, my buddy had the very shiny R1 that ended up not so shiny, I recognized both bikes when I came over.

It didn't seem overly slick for me but I'm usually careful there. The incident in the am sbk qualifier seemed to be a little bit of cold tire and over anxious rider. Front wheel locked and lowsided under the other bike, happend right infront of me.

The corner workers, and Marty himself, went over the corner more than once and couldn't find anything. Just weird co-incidence, I guess.

Traction was grea. I just went in a little too deep.

Attila (Serialize on this forum) has broken ribs from a crash in the hairpin - I thought it was in AM 600 but could be wrong. I took him to Belleville General and got him back in the evening. He'll be sore for a while but eventually should be fine. May have been old tires.

Nope that was sbk, caused the red flag in our qualifier. Good to hear he's mostly ok he got run over pretty good.

Ahhh that explains why he is not answering his messages.
