When could you get the surgery done? If you do you would be riding in a few days. I have rode with a broken collar bone not fun when the ass end of the bike slides out. I'll be in shanny Thursday with a separated shoulder from my csbk crash if that makes you feel any better;)

I'm not sure about surgery, the Doc in emerg seemed to think they won't operate. I am seeing the specialist Thursday morning.

If it's broken they should give you an option. When I broke mine they did. Stupidly I declined and now I have a nice bump. If you can I would get it done asap. If I every break mine again I wouldn't think twice about getting surgery.

You already have a plate in that shoulder from a prev collarbone break don't you? Wonder if that has something to do with the Dr thinking no operation.

How's the gallbladder? ;)

I have heard that there is no option, the operation is dependent on the type of break, in most cases they just let it be.

Depends on the doctor and the degree of displacement. I broke mine in a street crash and had a more than 3 radius displacement of the two pieces, and my GP said, "We don't plate collarbones." Rebroke it a 9 years later slipping in the mud at Mosport. Saved the camera, but not the collarbone. A specialist at St. Mikes, who was one of two who took part in a years long study on plating collarbone breaks, took one look at the X-ray and said that he wouldn't plate this one, but the old break he would have.

Hasn't even crossed my mind honestly. The R3 would need a lot of work to be race ready. (suspension, front and rear, brakes, safety wire, etc..)

The Bandit was just having an issue with the tank pressurizing and forcing fuel past the floats and into the motor. So I need to figure that out.

At least it looked good while it was running. I've always had a soft spot for the littlest Bandit.

I was really surprised with the new motor I had that weekend. (Its a GSXR-400 motor) I was able to stay ahead of the SV650s for a little bit, and even when they passed me I was able to stay in touch for a few laps. The only difference from last year is the new motor is 9hp stronger, and I added clip ons.
