i am doing a project of converting my gs500 to an r6 rear end.

i have a 2006 r6r sub frame. is this okay to use with the r6s seat or does the r6r have different seat?

in for pics of finished product!! to answer your question though, i believe the seats are different and the tail plastics on the r6r are different then the r6s

Probably should of checked the part numbers at a dealer or online first

okay cool. well so far everything i have is r6r ... i am looking for a seat now but the sellers are not clarifying the model they just list as "06 07 r6 front seat"
 
This should be an interesting project. I'm currently trying to get a R1 tail to fit on my FZ6, but the plan is to hack the current subframe and use that.

yeah i Was thinking of going thaT route
too but i figured i might as well do the whole rear and frame swap. atleast this way all the rest whould fit easier.

who is gonna do the welding for you?

and dont worry all i am gonna be posting photos of the whole project.
