wow that guy is lucky that the R6 went under the car firs to jack up the car, or else it could of been a lot worse.

Funny, but I do imagine if you took your Spyder to its limits of grip (just like going fast enough to get a good lean on that turn) just as much bad **** could happen. Actually, you'd likely be going faster so worse **** would happen. Happy to see the guy was geared up as he was, but simply not going so fast would have prevented the accident. Classic example of this:

Do you think that these riders who crash their bikes pay out of pocket or make a claim? Not pertaining to this rider as he hit another vehicle but in general. There really is no thing as a ' fender bender' when it comes to bikes is there.

I lost someone to that exact situation. It was in a 10 mph bend in the road...a few yards in front of me.

I've always think about this scenario. Could have tried to lift his legs so that he can push himself away from the car. Easier said than done, I know but there's nothing you can do when you're sliding

Perfect example why you shouldn't treat the street as a race track

Trying to push off the car at that closing rate would have likely resulted in two broken legs.

I said push yourself, not the car. Don't try to make it sound so impossible.

Legs are not that easy to break. Even if they do its still better than crushed internal organs. There's a reason your natural defensive posture is to use your hands & legs to block a blow.

Broken legs=still alive, you might walk with a limp for the rest of your life

Crushed internal organs=almost instantaneous death, depends on the organs

I can't believe he stood up. He needs to buy a lotto ticket. As many have said luck... I bet 7 times out of 10 it wouldn't end like that video did.

Picturing dude folded in half under the car.

So whAt was the reason his back slid out in that turn?

"If i was educated, I'd be a damn fool"

Not the reason, but, if he was stepping on the outside peg instead of putting all the weight to the inside, then he could possibly regain traction, in my understanding.
