For those of you into the YouTube/moto-vlogging scene, I just learned that Svengalie (YouTube Channel) passed away this past Friday. m13 posted a video tributing him, he was an awesome guy and the 2nd-most viewed motovlogger in the world. Pay his channel a visit, this is a big loss to the motovlogging scene. :(

He had just posted a video a week ago, apparently passed away in his home Friday.. no idea on the cause. He leaves behind 2 young children.

Reports say he burned his house down, and they're theorising that it could've been suicide.

Watching his video from a week ago, he didn't seem as if he was in a bad spot. It's very shocking. Moto-vlogging is what made me fall in love with motorcycles (even though I don't own one yet), and Svengalie was the second moto-vlogger I found. Loved all his videos. He had a great personality. He was having some hardships in his life, as he mentioned in his videos, but I didn't think it was this bad. He'll be forever missed.

As you can tell, I don't post here very often. But since some of you seem to have questions about what happened, the least I could do is post what I know (or a link to what happened anyways).

I've been following the MotoVlogging scene for a long, long time. His death is certainly a loss to the Vlogging community, but that pales in comparison to the loss his two young children must feeling. I knew Steve a bit, he was a good guy.

RIP

EDIT: Looks like the poster above me beat me with the link.

Thanks for the clarification guys. I was just reading some posts on another bike/vlog related site from a close friend of his, and they confirm, it was indeed suicide.

Truly sad, he seemed like such a cheerful and fun guy, having just posted a few hilarious videos over the last few weeks, but ultimately we never really know what's going on in someone else's life. I imagine he took some comfort in entertaining all of us, and riding with his friends -- I've never met the guy but I am saddened by his passing; and I hope that if there's such thing as an afterlife, he's tearing it up on that KTM of his and having a blast, free of the pain and suffering he had endured up until now.

I just posted a video tribute (one of my favorite V-Loggers made) last night on Twitter with Svengalie tagged. I had no idea this had happened until about an hour ago...I was absolutely stunned to read about it. No other way to describe my reaction. A terrible situation for all who know him and I feel especially sad for his kids. :( R.I.P. Steve Love
