QuickShifter Options

Update:
I tried setting up the sensitivity on the quickshifter and the indicator light wasn't coming on, so I figure I would email the guys from Annitori before i continue to play with it and screw something up

Wrote them an email on Sat at 1:42 not expecting to hear from them until Monday, got an email back from then on Sat by 5pm, a couple of emails later and a small test and problem solved. There was really no problem with the unit, it was all my fault. Awesome customer service

Here is a video of a little test run I did today on the stand - the first run is a bit rough(turns out I am not good at shifting with my hand) but on the second one you can hear the quckshifter working

Finally put the recently painted body work and took the bike out for a quick run on a quiet road by my house, Quickshifter worked beautifully, the higher the RPM the smoother it works

Highly recommended - Only tried the medium sensitivity setting, will try the other settings at practice weekend

But If anyone ever comes across this thread while looking for a quickshifter, the Annitori RL is probably something you want to look into

Good to hear, I went to where my bike is stored to messure the shift rod this weekend and will place the order this week. I will need to shim the rod a bit to make some room for the reverse shift conversion, but once installed I cant wait to try it out. Did you get it from BS racing? I am wondering if their price includes the rod or not. Direct from Annitori it is $319 w/ the rod.

Yes I got it from Tony at BS - the price does include the rod and you get it within a couple of days

Get it from Blue Streak since it's local
Email tehm with the size of the rod you need bsrtech@xplornet.com

Remember that the size of the QS is 50 mm, so whatever size you measure your rod at, you need to substrack 50 mm and that is the number you email him with your Bike year, make and model, I think the Website doesn't ask you those details when you order online from BS
