Where can I get a milk crate? Just ask nicely in the supermarket? Or order it from somewhere? Kawi dealer? I just need one if that matters.

Question to the KLR owners

There are many places where it is simple to procure milk crates. Unfortunately, that is b6 stealing them. I thought fortnine or someone sold something similar for ~$30. I've never heard of a legitimate source for actual milk crates.
So they steal it instead? Milk crates are owned by the dairies. I suspect you'd have better luck trying to buy one from kawartha than Beatrice. I wouldnt be surprised if none had a mechanism to do it legally.If you ask your local convenience store owner very nicely, they may have one that's been 'previously enjoyed' they'll sell to you cheap or even gratis.

Thats awesome. I didn't know they were so readily available and affordable. May retire one that has even used as a stepstool/garage seat for too many years and the base is very cracked.

I’m new to the KLR world/lifestyle.. I’m but I’ve learned fast, KLRs and milk creates are no joke.
Maybe a nice KLR with a milk crate may make your bike with character list.

It has been a hot minute since this last came up. Did we talk about anybody suffering repercussions for possessing an ill-gotten milk crate?
Don't get me wrong. I too would prefer to buy one and have it be free of moral turpitude, especially if it's going to be bolted to my bike where the "this is not your property" inscription will be just below eye level
