question about motoparkracing trails

I also prefer to trailer although I've done both. It's 1 hour from the GTA if you take the highways, or about 1.5 hours taking the back roads. Just remember there's still LOTS of hard packed snow and ice in the trails, and the Ganny is still closed until May 1st.
Oh ya, thought it was april....way to rain on my parade.

It's gotta be close now though, right? (trail conditions)

Taken yesterday.

The trails are pretty much still completely covered in lower lying and shaded areas. Anything used by the ofsc is packed ice. There were a few areas I didn't even bother to venture into because the snow was still a foot deep.

The only places I have seen so far this year that are dry enough to ride are out in Niagara. St David's sand pit is best around now. The quarry is good and the little single track sections out back are getting better. Can't wait for the ganny to open up. If you're going to the ganny make sure you have a trail pass and please be considerate of the horse riders and other user groups. That's the best forest in southern Ontario and it would really suck to lose that. There's trails closer to the lake near the ganny which are good but you'll need someone to guide you to and on them. There's an area we call nephton that's a big forest with lots of enduro/ shield riding.

Apparently the Raglan pits are good to go.

We're getting close guys! Had my first moto weekend.

Trails at Gopher are still too wet, they are still closed but the tracks are open and awesome!

Rode the Beagle Bash today. Trails out that way are in great shape. Snow is all but gone in the Bethany area as of Friday when I did a pre-ride. Some soupy sections but drying up quickly.

Raglan Pits have been thawed for weeks if riding around in a sand bowl is your thing.

Go get tickets.

Last Saturday some trucks came up and told us they had just been ticketed for being there.

Your not suppost to be riding in there but people do, for what reason I don't know, it has the entertainment value of a piece of paper and no crayons.

signed up as a member of steel city riders after the positive things I've been reading about them.
Went to the steel city riders track yesterday and had a good time :D Nice track and some single track, single track was still prety wet.

Yep, just heard from a buddy right now that a bunch of guys got fined and had their bikes impounded on the weekend.

Apparently people try to "skip" a pond that is in there.

I wouldn't go, with all the heat that's been there lately. I'm not close enough to ride it, but most of my moto x buddies have been there or ride there regularly... I think they're probably putting and end to it.
It's just a big sand pit to ride in. It's not my thing and it just leads to bad things happening when you mix all sorts of skill levels and all sorts of machines. Bad news all around really.
