Going to the CVMG do in Paris today I noticed that they had partly paved the QEW from Oakville to Burlington. The left lanes were paved and the right lanes grooved. There was a drop off from the new paving to the old and I was wondering how different bikes handled a lane change if needed. The drop was about two inches. I just stayed to the right as traffic was light.

Whenever there are things like that in the road, I always cut across it at an aggressive angle to stop the tire from tracking with it. And squeeze with your knees!
