Puma Testastretta II Boots

Anyone have a pair of these? I am looking for a pair of boots that are not bulky or heavy that I can wear for the day at work

Any real life opinions would be great. I know that these are not full protection racing boots, my expectation is not for them to be that type of boot

I would wear my black flat2's to work all the time. comfy as hell and blends with your semi-cas clothes well. They get a little warm tho cuz they're waterproof and don't breathe, but it's only noticable sometimes...

I have a pair of flat2 v2 that I wear to work.
I can manage 12 hour shifts but it gets a little painful towards the end of the day and even more painful during the break in period...

It's a narrow boot, so if you have wide feet, I wouldn't recommend it.
The sizing is a little different, I wear 10.5 Regularly but mine are size 11 and work well for their intended purpose.
Go half a size bigger than what you would usually wear.

Like the other guy said, doesn't offer much protection, but they are comfy and wearable all day and look great. The heel does wear down after awhile and starts making a clicking noise, but doesn't impact functionality at all.

I have them and they now sit in the closet after 1 week of use.

I would say if you're a girl go for it.
if you're a guy they're GARBAGE. after 1 week the rubber began falling off the sole so it was just metal. everywhere I walk it's a noticable clak clak clak clak like high heels. guys turn around when I walk down the street, look surprised I'm not a blond vixen, and then snicker.

worst motorcycle purchase thus far.

They are more fashion than function.

+1

Pros:
Very lightweight
Dries surprisingly quick if got soaked
Keeps your feet cool, tempwise.
People think it looks nice

Cons:
Horrible break-in period, very uncomfortable around heel.
Durability was def not a constraint during design/production.
Zipper is so far lasting, but I'm very sure it will snap one of these days.
Leaks under rain within the first few mins.
Very slippery when walking.
Expensive.

Regarding comfort, I should prob not comment. I find a lot of shoes uncomfortable, and I hate boots. I went on a 10-day trip to South Beach, and unfortunately they were the only piece of shoes I brought aside from flip flops. They weren't unbearable, but certainly not comfortable either.
They may contribute to extra wait-time at the club doors =)

I had the Puma Flat2. They were pretty stiff for walking around in and the sole's started peeling off too. I got the Alpinestars S-MX 1 now. Way more comfy and actually feel like more protection too. There's a big plastic guard on the toe that supposedly can come off to make them more everyday wearable, but I haven't figured out how to get it off nor do I really care.

Have the same boots. The only thing I like about it is it's pretty easy to put on but the metal portion on the heel left a scratch mark on my swing arm. It also makes a hooker sound when you walk......

I have some. Haven't had a chance to wear them yet though. Guy at work wears them as normal shoes since he sold his bike. He loves them.

This is part of my problem, I hate boots. they are tyically heavy, stiff and clunky.... though I also know this is why they offer protection. Ideally I would like quality footwear that fits like a shoe but offers some protection, something I could wear while riding and still be able to wear through my day at the office with casual pants. Right now I wear footwear to rid in with and switch with the pair of shoes I leave at my desk.

What I want and what may be available may not be available  I have a solution today, it just isn't the one I would like
