yup, it contains kerosene.

I think my results had to do with the aerosol can.... I always found I made quite the mess with my jug of camping kerosene. More accurate application.

Get a $2 spray bottle from CT or Home Depot, put your kerosene in that when you need it (I wouldn't store it in one though)

Any particular reason not to store it in the spray bottle? From what I know kerosene is pretty safe in plastic

Over time I found that the pump fails.

Get the tirox for the brush(it's awesome) and once the cleaner is done, as everyone else has said get some kerosene and that's that
