Pro-Bolt dealer

Funny, I've been eyehumping the pro-bolt catalogue the past day.

Bluestreak Racing is the listed authorize dealer.

what did you need from pro bolt?\

I got this reply from the Pro-Bolt Website:

Thanks you for your email, our USA website does not deliver to Canada, you would need to place your order on our UK website.
For an order of this value we would ship using a Courier Service.

So in otherwords, whatever you order you're going to have to pay alot for shipping plus all the BS Fee's the courier companies charge ontop.

In my experience there is no BS fees when shipping from the UK, only when using couriers from the USA. And usually shipping is a good deal from the UK as well, I have had very good luck.

I haven't had too much experience from UK shipping so I'll take your word for it.

Turns out the site has a Royal Mail option that you can use. About 30 GBP cheaper.

When shipping from the UK you should think as if you were shipping from the USA. Select Royal Mail (their equivalent of CanadaPost/USPS), that way when it arrives, you pick it up at your local post office and don't get dinged with customes brokerage fees like with UPS/FedEx. For those of you who order stuff from Japan, EMS is the way to go there.

Call up the local dealer and see if they can offer you the same price or better. There's multi-fold advantages to doing this:
- You get your parts immediatly (i love picking up a bajillion boxes all at once...it's like x-mas cept you get everything you want =) ).
- You support someone local as well.
- They deal with the shipping headaches and will go to bat for you if the wrong parts show up or something's missing (saves the aggravation of dealing with international returns).

Just my .02 cents (.03 cents US). YMMV

Odd cause when you try putting in a shipping address on the USA site the only country you can pick is USA.
