Maybe, a lot of bad tenants out there these days taking advantage of landlords, knowing the LTB will do nothing, and hearings are not happening for 1-2 years....

I’m sure there are. But there’s a whole lot more good tenants than bad (in my experience) and due diligence goes a long way.

Yes I didn't mean to paint it all one way. I've been pretty lucky with my rental, but I haven't rented it again since the pandemic started. Rather wait a bit more until some level of normal comes back, if ever.
